Right of Withdrawal Policy

If the customer is a consumer as defined by the KSchG and the transaction is a distance sale, the customer may cancel the contract within 14 days without providing a reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the date the contract was concluded. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify Familie Reinisch GmbH in writing, stating their name, address, and phone number, and indicating their decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadlines are met provided the customer sends the notice of withdrawal before the end of the withdrawal period.

If the customer withdraws from the contract, Familie Reinisch GmbH must refund all payments it has received from the customer, including shipping costs—with the exception of any additional costs resulting from the customer’s choice of a shipping method other than the low-cost standard shipping offered by Familie Reinisch GmbH — without delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which Familie Reinisch GmbH received notice of the cancellation of the contract. Familie Reinisch GmbH will use the same payment method for this refund that the customer used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the customer; in no event will Familie Reinisch GmbH charge any fees for this refund. Familie Reinisch GmbH may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or until the customer has provided proof that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

The customer must return or hand over the goods immediately, and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which the customer notifies Familie Reinisch GmbH of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if the customer ships the goods before the 14-day period expires. The customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. The customer is liable for any loss in value of the goods only if such loss is attributable to handling that is not necessary for inspecting the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.

The customer’s right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for goods that are manufactured according to the customer’s specifications or are clearly tailored to the customer’s personal needs, for goods that are perishable or whose expiration date is likely to pass quickly, for goods that are delivered sealed and are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, provided that the seal has been broken after delivery, alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time the contract was concluded but which cannot be delivered earlier than 30 days after the contract was concluded, and whose current value depends on market fluctuations over which the business has no control, the delivery of beverages by Familie Reinisch GmbH as part of frequent and regular deliveries to the consumer’s residence, place of stay, or workplace;
